"Paying tribute to the much-loved 1991 animation, but adding more zing and subtlety to every encounter, this is a gorgeous, magical, witty pleasure"
★★★★★
- Kate Muir, The Times

"A delightful live-action recreation of a familiar fable. You’ve seen this film before, but when it’s redone with such warmth and craft, it’s impossible not to be won over anew"
★★★★
- Matt Maytum, Total Film

"A show-stopping chocolate box of a remake. Emma Watson dazzles (that girl-next-door winsomeness and a sweet, clear singing voice see her through), Ewan McGregor is especially delightful as Lumière and Luke Evans is utterly perfect as Gaston"
★★★★
- Tim Robey, The Telegraph

"An unabashed musical with its heart on its sleeve and energy to spare, it’s decidedly unbeastly. The triumph is that that extra runtime flies by. The tale may be as old as time, but it’s retold with freshness, brio and flair"
★★★★
- Nick de Semlyen, Empire
