Country: UK

Hailed by presenter Zoe Ball as “an amazing singer-songwriter” and “one to keep an eye on” by Rolling Stone Magazine, Anderson is a talented musician with much to offer. Likened to Damien Rice’s emotionality, Glen Hansard’s crafted storytelling, the seriousness of Nick Drake and the lively showmanship of John Martyn, Anderson stands out in his own right as an all round entertainer and “truly remarkable artist” (BBC Radio Wales).

If you haven’t heard Anderson’s music yet, you are in for a treat. Words fail to prepare you for the delicate warm and comforting tones of his voice, described by BBC Radio 2’s Bob Harris as “truly beautiful”.

The sensitive nature of his lyrics, his subtle guitar playing, stellar vocals, and use of sharp stirring instrumental arrangements have left listeners spellbound. Audiences have described his live performances as deeply moving and uplifting, and for some “the best gig” they have ever been to. Anderson is a sophisticated artist whose musical tales of human vulnerability connect so deeply they feel like an instant soundtrack to your life- taking folk to a level that is cinematic in reach and vision. A taste-maker with a crooner-like ease of style, his passion for fashion, cinematography and animation seep into and out of his music, making him an exciting multidimensional artist.

Singer-songwriter Katey Brooks will be joining Fraser Anderson for the evening. Katey has a unique sound that epitomises the culturally diverse environment in which she grew up. Born and raised between Bristol, London and Arizona to musical parents, the Indy Music Awards finalist is perhaps best described as a female Hozier, with all the haunting intensity and every bit of the soul.
